B. A. Binns is the pseudonym of Barbara Binns, a retired Information Technology expert who finds writing an exercise in self discipline, and the perfect follow-up to her life as an adoptive parent and cancer survivor. She is a member of the American Library Association (ALA), Romance Writers of America (RWA), the Chicago Writers Association, the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) and the Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA). She writes to attract and inspire both male and female readers with stories of “real boys growing into real men…and the people who love them.”
In addition to writing and all that goes with that, Barbara spends her time engaged in volunteer work. She coaches local Seniors in computer classes and works with her church youth group. Her favorite quote, “If at first you don’t succeed…” and applies those words to both her writing and her life.Latest Books

Honorarium and Fees
Honorariums begin at $200 depending on length of visit and distance from author. Travel, lodging and meal expenses may apply for out-of-town travel. Fees can be adjusted based on number and length of sessions requested. Please contact me with any idea or proposal and we can negotiate.
