Kristina Springer

Kristina Springer has a Bachelor of Arts in English Education from Illinois State University and a Master of Arts in Writing from DePaul University. The Espressolgist is her debut book with Farrar, Straus, and Giroux and will be released in the fall of 2009. Her second young adult fiction book will be published in the fall of 2010. In addition to her love for writing young adult fiction, she has been a technical writer, technical writing instructor at DePaul University in Chicago, IL and a freelance writer. She has written for Writer’s Digest magazine as well a number of Web sites (including AbsoluteWrite.com, Writing-World.com, pregnancyandbaby.com, sheknows.com, CoolChyck.com, and she penned a weekly ‘Net Love column for the former Relationship101.com for over a year). She resides in a suburb of Chicago with her husband and children.
