Lori Degman
Location: Vernon Hills, Illinois
Lori Degman lives in the northern suburbs of Chicago with her husband and two sons and is a teacher of the deaf and hard of hearing. She returned to writing, after a fifteen year hiatus, and entered the 2008, Cheerios Spoonfuls of Stories Contest. Her story, 1 ZANY ZOO, was awarded the grand prize. As a result, Simon & Schuster offered to publish her manuscript, which will be released in July, 2010. A smaller, paperback version of the book will be included in boxes of Cheerios in Spring, 2010.
Her debut picture book, 1 ZANY ZOO, will be illustrated by the wonderful Colin Jack!Latest Books
