Margaret Stohl

Margaret earned a BA in English from Amherst College, an MA in English from Stanford, and completed coursework for a PhD in American Studies from Yale. Margaret taught Film at Yale and Romantic Poetry at Stanford as a grad student. She also studied Creative Writing with George MacBeth at the University of East Anglia, Norwich. Margaret lives in Santa Monica, CA with her husband, three daughters, and two bad beagles, Kirby and Zelda. She has written screenplays for Nickelodeon Movies and Clasky-Csupo Productions, and spent ten years writing and designing videogames like Spiderman, The Fantastic Four, and Pirates of the Caribbean, before the publication of her first novel, BEAUTIFUL CREATURES.
