Margie Gelbwasser is a freelance writer and novelist who has written for various magazines, including SELF, LHJ, Women’s Health, New Jersey Monthly, Girl’s Life, Instructor and Writer’s Digest. Her essays about growing up Russian and Jewish have appeared in Waking Up American: Coming of Age Biculturally and Smith Magazine. She likes writing about education, the writing craft, the Russian-Jewish experience, and life in the oh so exciting suburbs of NJ. She also enjoys fixing her high school days through her novels. She has an adorable, increasingly stubborn two year old who loves rakes, lawnmowers and cleaning, two licky cats, and a husband who rocks in math (which is perfect for an English major girl). Inconvenient is her first YA novel.Latest Books
