Mel Tarman

A retired professional who worked as an executive, entrepreneur, and educator, Mel Tarman is a first-time children’s author who is passionate about teaching young readers about the history of the Jewish people. Among his other achievements, Tarman is the recipient of the American Legion Merit Award for outstanding writing and he is the former publisher of New Ventures magazine for young entrepreneurs.
In addition to having worked in publishing for many years, Tarman served in the United States army during the Korean Conflict. A graduate of New York University with a B.A. in psychology, he went on to receive a MA from New York University Stern School of Business. A native of Brooklyn, Tarman has lived and worked in various cities throughout the country and now resides in Galveston, Texas with his wife.Latest Books
