Influenced by wildlife around her, Patti Zelch’s stories have been published in magazines and an anthology. While preparing for hurricane Wilma, her grandson asked her what wild animals do during a storm. After much research, she learned that some wildlife seem to sense upcoming storms and prepare for them. Ready, Set…WAIT! is the result of her research and is her debut picture book. A retired teacher, Patti splits the year between the Florida Keys and North Carolina.
