Who We Are:

The Tenners are a lively community of YA/MG debut authors who have a book coming out in 2010. We have 30+ members who write in many different genres–light, funny, contemporary, dark, gritty, historical, mystery, fantasy, or any combination. You name it, one of us probably writes it!

What We’re Up To:

If you want to know about upcoming YA/MG books before they hit the shelves, The Tenners is the place to hang out. The Tenners are currently hosting a series of interviews with the 2009 Debutantes(YA/MG authors debuting in 2009), called the Deberviews. We also have an awesome weekly Tenners Top Ten column and we will soon be talking about our road to publication as well as hosting contests and giveaways. It’s going to be an exciting year, don’t miss out!

If you are a YA/MG author debuting in 2010, we invite you to become a member. Please go to Live Journal and sign up for an account if you don’t have one. Then go to our profile page, read the directions under the ‘about’ section and click ‘join’ on the top right-hand side of your screen. Please do not forget to email our moderator, Heidi R. Kling (email address is included below), with your book and publisher information.

*Please note: December 1, 2009 is the cut-off date to join. After that, our community will be CLOSED to new members. However, we will make exceptions for those who get moved from 2009 to 2010 release dates.
